We’ve had a few questions come up about the tax credit and how it affects the county. One concern was that if businesses donate half of their property tax dollars to us, the county would lose that revenue.

To clarify- the state reimburses the county for any amount of businesses claim through this credit so the county does not lose funding when the credit is used.

Our Celebrate Life Banquet was a beautiful reminder of why the Women’s Resource Center exists- to support, empower and walk alongside women and families in our community.

Businesses!!! Check this out!! Keep 50% of your tax dollars in the delta area to help community members!!

The Children’s Promise Act tax credit, passed by the legislature and signed by the governor in 2019, provides a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for donations to the Women’s Resource Center.

We're so thankful for Pastor Sara Miller from Merigold Methodist Church, who led an encouraging devotional at the Women's Resource Center on Monday. Over the past few weeks, their congregation has collected items for our boutique, and we are grateful for their kindness and support!

At the Women's Resource Center, we value every part of the family. Just as we nurture mothers and children, we believe fathers play a vital role and deserve encouragement and support in this new step of life.

Our Fatherhood Classes offer one-on-one and occasional small group sessions designed to help men grow as fathers and leaders in their homes, built on a biblical foundation. Together we'll explore God's design for family, the unique role of fathers , and how to lead with love, purpose, and faith.

The program includes 6 personalized sessions, led by Wesley Smith, and is scheduled at times convenient for each participant.

These classes are open to any man desiring to grow as a husband and father or those preparing for fatherhood for the first time!

Let's strengthen families together- one father at a time.

At the Women's Resource Center, we believe every woman who walks through our doors deserves hope, compassion, and support. None of this would be possible without our volunteers' helping hands and hearts of service.

Volunteers are the smiling faces that greet women in crisis, the gentle voices that offer reassurance, and the steady presence that reminds women they are not alone.

Have you ever wondered about volunteering? There are different opportunities available to serve in this ministry. Volunteers are encouragers, listeners, prayer warriors, and friends.
