We know it takes a community when you have a family. Be a part of our community baby shower.

Preparations are in full swing for our second annual FREE Community Baby Shower in Akron!

This heartwarming event is all about coming together as a community to support birthing and recently postpartum families. Organized by a passionate team of birth and postpartum doulas, we're hosting a day filled with support and generosity.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:

1. Gather new and gently used items to donate: baby clothes, baby linens, baby gear/equipment, feeding supplies, diapers, and postpartum essentials

2. Message me to arrange pick-up/drop-off of items.

3. Share our posts.

Let's create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for families who deserve our support. Your presence and contributions will make a meaningful difference. Spread the word, bring a friend, and let's make this baby shower an unforgettable experience! See you there!

We had an Akron Doula Circle meet up to get headshots at
Amanda's studio has it all, including options for hair and makeup (did you see those crowns?!). She specializes in newborn and maternity portraits. Look at all those wraps and hats for sweet babes and the gorgeous wardrobe options!

Amanda was super helpful with posing, and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera. I can't wait to see the pictures!

If you are expecting, trying to conceive, or recently postpartum, head over to babies-and-bumps.com to pick up tickets for this weekend's baby fair!

My doula bestie Bethany and I are doing a workshop about birth planning at 1:15pm. Attendees will come away with handouts to help you get started, and we'll be around after the seminar if you have specific questions.

See you at the big event on Saturday from 10am-2pm! There will free goodie bags, raffles, prizes, opportunities to talk to local businesses, and learn about services that are helpful during conception, pregnancy, and postpartum. Some of the practitioners include doulas, lactation consultants, massage therapists, chiropractors, pelvic floor therapists, and so much more.
