We are excited to announce the search for a new Executive Director to lead our organization and drive our mission forward.

The Delta Arts Alliance serves as a bridge to connect diverse cultures through their contributions to the arts, to create a common vision, and to develop strategies for making the arts a more prominent part of daily life in the Mississippi Delta.

Delta Arts Alliance is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit located at the Historic Ellis Theatre in downtown Cleveland, MS which includes the old Walt’s Service Station as our Arts Annex for Dance and Performing Arts. The Ellis Theatre includes DAA offices, gallery exhibitions, Permanent Crosstie Collection, Povall-Sanders Fine Arts Balcony and the Juliet Kossman Whistlestop Stage.

Directly across from the Ellis Theatre, at the Commerce Building, DAA operates roughly 9,000 square feet of creative space for community programs that include art education & workshops, filmmaking, music recording & podcasts, lecture space and the future home of DAA Artist-in-Residence studios as we develop Phase II of our campus expansion.

Qualifications:
☑️ Bachelor's degree in Arts Administration, Non-Profit Management, or a related field (preferred, but not required).
☑️ Minimum of 5 years of professional experience with a preference for experience in a leadership role and/or within the arts or non-profit sector.
☑️ Proven experience in fundraising, grant writing, and budget development and oversight.
☑️ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
☑️ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
☑️ Entrepreneurial “figure it out” mindset.
☑️ Flexible in nature with a growing organization with many moving parts.
☑️ Passion for the arts and a commitment to community engagement.

Today was an amazing day in the Delta! 🌱🎉

The ribbon cutting for the new SPROUT Park was a beautiful celebration of sustainability, wellness, resilience, outdoor learning, unity, and teaching healthy habits.

Congratulations to Delta Fresh Foods Initiative on this powerful community launch. The Bridge is proud to be an active community partner as we continue moving forward together!

The future is growing right here in the Delta. 🌱💚

Our friends at 7 Brew surprised us today, and the timing could not have been more perfect!

We were in the middle of practicing for our upcoming play, Courage Cafe, when just the pick-me-up we needed walked through the door. Talk about perfect timing! The smiles got bigger, the energy went up, and that white chocolate mocha cold brew truly warmed my heart.

Thank you, 7 Brew, for showing The Bridge so much love. Your kindness made our day brighter and reminded us how meaningful community support can be. It is always special when local businesses show up in ways that make people feel seen, encouraged, and celebrated. 💙💛❤️

The Bridge Way💙❤️💛

Exposure creates confidence, and confidence creates possibility.
Our prevocational participants had an informative and inspiring visit to Cleveland City Hall, where they observed workplace roles and responsibilities, learned about the services City Hall provides, explored how to apply for jobs, and engaged in meaningful discussion about communication in the workplace between employees, employers, and customers.

At The Bridge, we believe real learning happens when participants can connect instruction to real-world experiences. Visits like this help open minds, build workplace readiness, and show our participants that they belong in professional spaces and have something valuable to offer.

Thank you, Cleveland City Hall, for welcoming The Bridge and helping us create a learning experience filled with insight, encouragement, and possibility.

Bridge Vision in Motion | December at The Bridge

December wasn’t a slow-down month at The Bridge—it was a launchpad. 💙❤️💛

We gathered our participants, staff, and leadership around one bold question:
What’s possible when vision meets action?

Through our Bridge Vision in Motion experience, dreams were spoken out loud, goals were claimed with confidence, and futures were put on the board with intention. This wasn’t arts and crafts. This was strategy. This was ownership. This was belief turning into movement.

What we witnessed was powerful:
• Young adults naming goals bigger than fear
• Staff aligning personal purpose with collective impact
• A shared commitment to do the work—not just wish for the outcome

2026 isn’t coming quietly.
It’s being built on purpose.

Look out, 2026.
The Bridge is blazing trails, breaking ceilings, and blowing possibilities out of the water.

Vision set.
Momentum activated.
The future is in motion.
