Hey! Check it out!!!! Your girl was recently featured in a printed publication!!!! 😊 There's a little blurb about me in the City of South Euclid's quarterly magazine! It talks about the series that I've been hosting with them throughout the last few months. 💚() 💚

DON’T FORGET!!!! I've got a Sound Bath at the South Euclid Community Center NEXT WEEK!!!! Come and get down with some sound!!! Not only is it FREE to attend, but you're totally invited!!! This will be my last performance of the year, so if you are still “Sound Bath Curious” or haven't seen me yet, this would be an awesome one to consider attending + 2025 dates are currently in the works too!!

Let's stretch, breathe, listen, relax, and connect together as we work through our collective grief. Things have felt pretty heavy lately, and more than ever I feel called to hold space and healing for others right now. Sometimes, we just need to pause and recalibrate- when we raise our own vibration, the world becomes a better place.

Please consider joining us!!!! I’m planning on making this one a little extra special in dedication to WOMEN and those who identify as women. Personally, I think we all need to really take care of ourselves right now as we process what has happened and what is yet to come. I'll be offering some collective oracle card readings to hopefully give you some insight on how to proceed from here when it comes to dismantling the patriarchy and standing up against hate and bigotry. Let's get centered, find clarity, and get to work when it comes to making this country a better and more tolerant place to exist in.

I recently graduated from sound healing school!!!!🎶🎓🎶 At the beginning of this year, I had started some courses which focused on becoming a certified practitioner of sound healing with a trauma informed lens. Overall, these courses covered a lot information on various aspects of sound healing, being a facilitator, and integrating other healing modalities as well.

For me, the most interesting parts were learning more about the physiological, mental, and emotional healing benefits of sound healing work. I've always known about the positive effects that its had on me personally since I started attending sound baths in 2019, and starting to host my on my own in 2023, but found it really inspiring and validating to hear about studies that have been coming out as sound healing work becomes more popular. Technically my Mental Health First Aid certification is still active too, so included it in this photo.

My goal for hosting more sound baths is to be a source of light, love, and healing for the people who attend my sessions. I want to make sound healing seem cool to people who may not think that it's for them. I want to change people's minds about how transformative various aspects of wellness can be. I want to provide access to under served communities and to create connections and hold space for positive change. I'm still new to providing this work and am a lifelong learner, so am happy to have had this opportunity to do such a deep dive and to get these meaningful certifications. 💖💖💖

I had SEW much fun volunteering with for their annual Sew-A-Thon this past weekend!!!! What an awesome opportunity to connect and collaborate with Cleveland's stitching community and to work together for the greater good.

This was a large scale social manufacturing initiative where hundreds of tote bags were made from laundered hospital curtains by many people working throughout the day. Over 600lbs of fabric was kept out of the landfill from this project and the bags that were made will be used for various community based needs and charitable programs.

I loved spending time with the group that I was paired with and meeting other amazing people in the sewing, sustainability, art, fashion, music, broadcasting, and educational worlds as well. It made me feel so proud to be a seamstress and to be part of Cleveland's sewing and creative community!

Sharie Renee has been a sewing and sustainability champion in Cleveland for ages! I first learned about her work when we first met about a decade ago. At the time, I was working at Jakprints () in their sewing and embroidery department and she would stop in sometimes and we would save her certain materials. Every once in a while I'd stop into her shop Cosmic Bobbins () where they hosted classes, offered embroidery services, and sold upcycled goods. Years later, she was at my library branch hosting a sewing class for refugee women, and we recently connected again earlier this year. It's incredible how woven together Cleveland is and how amazing she is at bringing people together and making meaningful change in our community. 💖

🌟 IT'S OFFICIAL! 🌟 After six months of learning, experimenting, hosting three public performances, and hauling my gear all over town- I'm so excited to share that I finally came out of the sound healing closet!!! 🎶🎶🎶

I realized recently that this isn't just a hobby anymore, it's something that I'm going continue to do more of this year and beyond. I'll admit, I was kind of nervous when I first started thinking about getting into sound healing but now know that I'm on a really cool path, have a unique point of view, and people actually like experiencing it. Also, I'm excited to get WEIRD with it and incorporate pedals, sequencers, and other instruments into the mix as well.

I'm so lucky to have different platforms and supportive people to share my work with- I've reached over 75 people with the gift of sound already! It's been a really interesting process for me to put myself out there and to push myself creatively. I've learned so much throughout this journey and especially about being a business lady now, which is something that is exciting but also strange to navigate sometimes.

It's also been marvelous to meet new people, network, collaborate, and think of interesting ways to immerse ourselves deeper into the art of listening. Making those connections is something that I think has been really healing and helpful not just for me, but for others too.

I'm going to be taking a quick break from performing so I can focus on some other creative ventures and personal matters, but do have some upcoming gigs lined up for the Spring - the details just haven't been finalized yet. I'm also starting to think about performing outdoors in the summer- I've got my eye on a quarry, swamp, and beach. So stay tuned!!!

📚 Let's talk about BOOKS! 📚 When I decided to move into the sound healing realm, it was really important for me to immerse myself into the various aspects of sound and metaphysical healing through learning. I wanted to be able to confidently explain what I'm doing without sounding like a crazy person or *woo woo wellness weirdo* lol 👽

I work at a public library, so am constantly surrounded by books and even ordered some that came from all over northeast Ohio. Here are some of the good ones that I've looked through over the last seven months that pertain to my sound healing journey. I'm striving to integrate sound, yoga, color, light, and Chakra balancing through my work and know this is something that takes time and needs to be carefully curated. Some of the slides include pics from these books and others were from a presentation I put together with images from the world wide web.

One thing that I've learned throughout my process is that often metaphysical healing is unknown to people. When promoting my events, the first question I always get asked is "what the heck is a sound bath?!". It's my goal to bring accessible information and immersive experiences to people who need it the most.

I'm looking looking forward to my THIRD public performance later this afternoon for kids and families! It's at my library, please visit my link tree for more information. Working with kids is so much FUN and I'm so excited to hear their thoughts on sound and see how they interact with my instruments.
