Autism is not something to be “fixed”, it’s something to be understood, supported, and celebrated. And celebrate we did! Today our team was honored to volunteer at today’s Autism Awareness program for Bolivar County.

At Performance Therapy, we are dedicated to educating and supporting those we serve while continuing to spread awareness and promote understanding.

Occupational therapists (OTs) help people of all ages build, recover, or maintain the skills needed for everyday life. Some OTs specialize in working with adults recovering from orthopedic injuries or neurological conditions, while others focus on pediatrics, helping children develop the skills they need to grow, learn, and thrive.

At Performance Therapy, we’re proud to offer both, different therapists specializing in what they are passionate about to support our patients through every stage of life. ❤️

We’re wearing blue to show our commitment to inclusion and to empowering every child to reach their fullest potential. Autism is not a limitation, it’s a different way of experiencing the world, and we are honored to walk alongside these incredible individuals on their journey.

We’re also highlighting the powerful benefits of sensory-based therapy in helping children thrive!
