Another new addition to our Grow Well Cleveland team is Kabir! He offers a safe, inclusive and compassionate space for healing and awareness. Hey all,
If you ever look at our IG/Fb you likely know where our loyalties and advocacy lies (dare I say values). Given this I want to recognize all those who cannot afford to lose pay, jobs, school, and/or leave family+friends to participate in tomorrow’s general strike alongside the small businesses who employ many of these folx and must continue to serve those around them. Others provide direct necessary service to those in need.
We at GWC serve all walks of folx including some incredible activists. I hope we can collectively hold space for the folx noted discovering the lanes we each take for the betterment of our world. We all have our lanes, I posted several stories from excellent small businesses sharing some great ideas of how to find those lanes.
Personally, some of us will be counseling & holding space for those in need because they deserve it, we all need time to recoup/process. Collective care is necessary in this climate. Others are taking the day and we applaud them. There are horrible things happening in our country (and others). We cannot sort by and watch. We act. Keep it up. And…

When Ann is not counseling you can find her engaging in activities like attending Pride, concerts, singing in a women’s chorus and playing in the Columbus Pride Band! During the holidays we missed welcoming some of our new clinicians! First up, we want to welcome, Jess! She is currently taking new clients, to schedule call the number you see on her post and she can see you at her North Canton office only (for in person counseling, she also does virtual). Jess has backgrounds in LGBTQIA+ affirming care, humanistic, person-centered, existential, and dialectal based theories. When not working Jess likes to hang out with her dogs, attend concerts, expand her Nike collection and go on adventures with good humans. Welcome to Grow Well Jess! 😁
