Grief can hit at any time. Quietly, suddenly, or all at once. On National Grief Awareness Day, we recognize the many ways loss affects our mental and emotional health, and we want our community to know: you don’t have to navigate it alone.

The Centers’ Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) is here when the weight feels too heavy to carry. Our walk-in centers offer same-day care, crisis support, and counseling for children and adults. No appointment needed. Just come as you are.

When mental illness, substance use, and homelessness collide, support can’t wait. That’s where The Centers’ Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team steps in. This intensive, multidisciplinary program provides wraparound care for adults living with severe mental health conditions, many of whom are unhoused or unstably housed.

The ACT Team meets clients where they are, offering:
✔️ Psychiatric support & counseling services
✔️ Substance Use Disorder treatment
✔️ Case management
✔️ Peer support
✔️ Nursing & medication coordination

ACT services are voluntary, Medicaid-covered, and designed to support long-term recovery and stability. The team works together so no one falls through the cracks.
