We are asked all the time as to why graves are dug 6 feet deep. This article gives theories as to how this practice came about. We can also answer this....most graves aren't dug that deep today. Most of the graves we dig are around 4 feet deep!

Are cemetery graves really 6 feet deep? What are the possible origins of this widespread belief?
