Calling all Cleveland RedHawks! MiamiCLE is searching for experienced leaders to serve a two year term on our 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀. This board serves in an advisory capacity and in complement to our current local leadership. It is tasked with setting long term initiatives, be a resource to the local President, VPs and committees, and maintain stability and continuity for MiamiCLE.

The nomination process is now 𝙤𝙥𝙚𝙣, and will run through 𝙎𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙡 𝟮𝟳. Nominations will be reviewed and selected by independent representatives from the Miami University Alumni Association located in Oxford. Selected board members will be notified between May 4th and May 9th.

Selected board members will then be sent to the Cleveland Chapter members for review and approval between May 14 and May 21, with board terms starting June 2.

MiamiCLE is getting into the MADNESS again! Your local Cleveland alumni chapter will host a March Madness Bracket Challenge for the 2025 NCAA Men’s Basketball season. Entry fee to join is $15. All proceeds will benefit the Miami University Cleveland Scholarship Fund and future local chapter events!

* 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭: We will host the league via ESPN’s Tournament Challenge (league information will be provided with payment confirmation).

* 𝐃𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞: Selections for Brackets may begin on 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝘁 𝟳:𝟬𝟬 𝗣𝗠 (𝗘𝗦𝗧).

You asked, we’re making it happen-
Your Miami RedHawks are playing for the MAC Championship! What better way to celebrate than with local alumni?

Join fellow Cleveland-area Miamians at alumni-owned 𝐎𝐥𝐝 𝐑𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 (19245 Detroit Rd, Rocky River, OH 44116) to cheer on the football team as the RedHawks take on the Ohio University Bobcats in the 𝐌𝐀𝐂 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 game on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟕𝐭𝐡. Kickoff is at noon.

The Miami University Alumni Association, Cleveland Chapter, is excited to announce an opportunity to nominate candidates for our next Chapter President (term beginning January 2025). This leadership role will guide the chapter’s efforts to connect and engage Miami alumni in northeast Ohio through the core pillars of Family, Community, and Career.

As Chapter President, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Cleveland Chapter, fostering meaningful connections, and driving impactful initiatives that support Miami University’s vibrant northeast Ohio alumni network. You will have the support of the Board of Directors and past Presidents, who will offer mentorship, guidance, and leadership assistance to help you succeed in this role.
