Megan attended The National Catholic Partnership on Disability - NCPD conference this past week! It was an opportunity to strengthen our belief that disability ministry is not just about inclusion. It’s about love in action, seeing Christ in every person, and creating a Church where all can fully participate and belong.

It was an honor to have our very own, Bishop Edward Malesic lead the opening prayer as we started our journey as Pilgrims of Hope.

Our Program Manager, Lauren, gets a shout out from Mary!!

Meet Maryellen (Mary) from Catholic Charities Disability Services & Ministries - Diocese of Cleveland Saturday program!

Mary first started participating because she was looking for a program that allowed her to make crafts and artwork, exercise, and meet and spend time with friends.

She has been part of the program for almost 2 years and loves the people she has met!

"I love Lauren. That's my girl! She's so sweet." Mary said.

This weekend our Program Coordinator, Megan Bonilla, worked with Saturday Program participants to create sensory kits!

These kits will be given to many parishes within the Diocese of Cleveland to promote and facilitate inclusion!
