Tomorrow is National Disability Independence Day, it marks the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—a historic civil rights law signed on July 26, 1990.

The ADA opened doors to education, employment, public spaces, and more—but many barriers remain.

From inaccessible buildings and inequitable health care to social stigma and underrepresentation, the journey toward full inclusion is ongoing.

This day is an opportunity to raise awareness about:
✔️ The importance of accessibility
✔️ The value of disability inclusion
✔️ The diverse ways people experience independence
✔️ The essential role of caregivers, families, and support systems

📣 Share this to raise awareness.
