1987 - JFSA volunteers accompany a client living with mental illness to a socialization group—part of our decades-long commitment to making mental health services accessible to all. Since the early 1970's when Ohio began the deinstitutionalization of psychiatric hospital patients, JFSA, working with long-time partner National Council of Jewish Women/Cleveland has helped individuals find connection, purpose, and community.
