We are all still SO proud of Ann for breaking the World Record for the oldest woman to hold a dead arm hang (2:52)🤩💪

Ann is a living, breathing example of what it means to be a Plant-Based Woman Warrior and inspired me to write our cookbook: “How to Be A Plant-Based Woman Warrior” in 2020!🙌

Every year we host a Christmas carol party and make our favorite dishes: Kale Bruschetta (whole grain bread, walnut sauce, steamed kale, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic glaze), Pepper Ridge Sandwiches (whole wheat bread, roasted red peppers, hummus, bbq portobello mushrooms, guacamole), and Better Board (liquid smoke mixed into hummus, and topped with any chopped veggie and balsamic glaze)🍅🫑🥪

This past Thanksgiving the Esselstyn family all got together in Cleveland! 👉One night we planned a party and all stood up and showed a talent, shared something we were passionate about, or presented a new piece of information we had learned.👩‍🏫

It was a blast, everything from swing dancing lessons, how to fold paper cranes, the history of Buddhism, and this very funny moment of teaching Ann and Essy Gen-Z/Gen Alpha slang!🤣 Essy completely nailed at using “cooked” in a sentence😂🥬

(for those that don’t know, cooked is defined by Gen-Z/Gen-Alpha as “being finished, fried, defeated, or in big trouble”)

Happy 92nd Birthday daddy!🥳💪💙❤️ you are aaaaamazing and an inspiration to us all everyday! Thank you for all you do for us, Ann, your patients, the world, and your family!🥰🙌 I love being your daughter and next-door neighbor! (His actual birthday was last night but he had a seminar for the Cleveland Clinic so we had a dinner celebration tonight!)

We enjoyed Yukon gold potatoes, cashew-ranch, cranberry salsa, tamari-baked, tofu, and lots of love!😋💙 happy happy birthday 💓
