Today kicks off National Rehabilitation Awareness Week (Sept. 15-21) 2025! 🎉

In addition to our skilled nursing and long-term care services, each Life Care Centers of America facility also offers on-site physical, occupational, and speech therapies. Over the years, our therapy teams across the nation have helped thousands of seniors improve function and mobility.

This week, we give a special thanks to all our PTs, OTs, and SLPs who truly make a difference in the lives of our inpatients and outpatients every day! 🫶

We had a great time at our Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce Leadercast event! Life Care Centers of America associates were able to grow in our leadership skills, connect with other community leaders and take part in meaningful conversations about making a positive impact where we live and work. Outpatient Yvonne Rittenhouse started therapy with a desire to one day learn how to ride a bicycle. Therapists worked with Yvonne on balance and other strengthening activities to also work towards her ultimate goal of riding a bicycle. One day while receiving his outpatient therapy, Jimmy Thurman asked about a bicycle, one belonging to a therapist, he saw in the gym. The therapists explained why it was there and the goal that another outpatient was working towards. Upon hearing this, Jimmy determined to bring and donate a bike he had. Yvonne met Jimmy and then continued to work on learning to ride her new bicycle. Pictured is Yvonne and therapist Jonathan Wash, COTA, practicing bike riding.
