Lake Effect Free Alternative Health Clinic A Free Clinic providing alternative and holistic health services to folks in the Cleveland, OH area LGBTQ Clinic on the First Thursday of the month, 5-8 PM!

Free, Holistic Health Services and Consultations, on the First Wednesday of Every Month, 7-9 PM! We opened the Lake Effect clinic to make holistic, alternative, and complementary therapies more available and accessible in Cleveland. We offer herbal health consultations, reiki, and foot care, and hope to offer massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic services in the future. These therapies can play a role in a gamut of common health problems, and offer tools to for people to understand and manage their own health challenges. The values and beliefs behind the Lake Effect Clinic are accessibility, client-centered health care, harm reduction and relationships of equality. We know that people can make the best decisions about their own health, given that they are given sufficient access to information; therefore, we collaborate with clients to develop a health plan, and then see what assistance we can offer them to implement their plan. Our volunteer staff strive towards non-hierarchical relations both with clients and each other.
