Happy Halloween everyone! There are some Halloweens that just haven't felt like it the last few years. Even before the pandemic I think we had some anemic or freezing ones that even the spirits were kind of "meh" about. The last few days however, I already felt the veil thinning and it is amazing how many people are feeling that tension from the various planetary transits in the heavens. I'm intending to write a little more about the situation with Mars going retrograde yesterday in the sign of Gemini and what that means for you and everyone else. Me included. But I wanted to wish everyone a happy Halloween/Samhain and remember that you can always connect with your loved ones on the other side all year round. The curtain between worlds thins more at this time of year because of how much more we are open to the concept, and how often we speak about the people (and beloved pets) who have crossed over the more energy is drawing them out to connect with you in your dreams or giving signs such a dropping coins, certain songs that you associate with a loved one, sometimes even though the sense of smell when you get a wisp of the perfume or cologne or the smoke they used to trail from their ci******es when they were in the earthly realm. So don't be afraid to ask for a little hint that you have connected. And you know you have the power to talk to them anytime you want to do it, if you are driving somewhere or you have a couple minutes to yourself where you feel there's privacy, say hello. Call them by name. "Grandma," "Mom", "Dad," "Ryan, "Kyra " "Snickers" and they are going to hear and feel you thinking about them. I probably should not say anything about how you don't nerd a medium to be able to talk to THEM because that's probably not good for my business, but I'm telling you that they are not that far away from you and your loved ones are open to hearing from you that which is going on in your life, your milestones, your sadness when you experience something important and you wish you could be there with them too, it's not as crazy as it sounds. I had a good talk with my dad when I got engaged recently. He'd met my partner when he was alive and he was fond of him. We both talked to him together a few weeks ago and we definitely felt his presence. My partner asked for permission to be my husband and this light I have that's supposed to look like the moon shifted to the photograph on my wall of his face, directly on it. That was a really extra event because most mediums and psychics are not able to get a dialogue or direct line to the other side with their own lost loved ones. It's probably the same as how you could be a surgeon but you don't operate on your own family and close friends. However I'm not going to lie, there's something after this life that we know of. I myself believe in God and a heaven but call it what you will, most people are in that kind of place and yet they are able to know that you are thinking about them, they are happy to hear from you in any case. Sometimes I have known people who had better conversations with someone after they passed because of whatever circumstances of illness or trauma that might have prevented a better relationship with them on earth no longer an albatross and obstacle. So whether you do it because it is Halloween or you just want to talk to your late mom while you're on your morning commute to work, say hi. Tell them what is new in your life. Tell her you reminded yourself of her when you couldn't find your glasses and they were on your head the whole time. Talk about how much your guitar playing is because you learned from the friend who was in your first band. If you have lost your dog and have a new one now, while you're going for a walk, introduce them because our animals for sure as well as very small children are able to see and feel spirit that mostly adults and even older kids grow out of and forget. Just don't forget to push the veil on the days that aren't Halloween because they are always near you and they are definitely going to know if you are talking to them.
Oh, my dire warning for this season and all of them- do NOT play with a Ouija board. It's not a joke or a game even if it might say Parker Brothers or Milton Bradley, that's a good way to get some things that are hard to get rid of in your space. That's not the way you are going to hear from Grandma or your friend late Steve. That's just not a good thing to mess with because it is like having your WiFi network unprotected in a public place with no VPN and the most unabashedly phony slimy opportunistic sludge of the spirit realm being handed your passwords and your banking information. Just got to go with me on this one.
Enjoy the holidays and if you need a little extra oomph feeling any bad vibes from the world of the living, I recommend you get to this place and buy an evil eye repellent stone. Sometimes objects can have power if you have intent and you put your own energy in a talisman 🧿 or even a religious item like a medal or picture of a saint depending what your culture. You can do that. And ask for Divine protection from harm. The way things are going lately in the world, I think sometimes to be among the living is sometimes far more anxiety producing than a chat with your late Pap-Pap and Nana. So enjoy the good holiday and if you are here in Cleveland,too, this WEATHER.... So many kids are probably really happy they can go trick or treating without a winter coat obscuring the major details of the costume that they have chosen.
Anyone else over the age of 35 remember some of those Halloween nights when it was raining or even lightly snowing? Bleh I like winter actually but not yet!
