THIS WILL HELP🤲

I hope this finds you well, physically well, at the very least.

Mentally and emotionally, I can certainly understand if you're feeling unwound, worried and scared.

If you're losing sleep over this, you're not alone.

The coronavirus pandemic has changed our current reality for the time being. How long will it last? How bad will it be? We don't know for certain.

We're concerned about our own health, and the health of our friends and family, especially those at greatest risk, our parents and grandparents, and others with pre-existing conditions.

And if we're being honest, a lot of us are probably worried about money too...

This pandemic has wreaked havoc on our investment accounts (if we are fortunate enough to have them in the first place), but it has been especially damaging to small businesses, especially those that require having customers and clients physically present.

I have friends who are fellow small business owners. They own restaurants and gyms, which have shut down temporarily. Their rents are still due and they have employees who they feel responsible for...

Right now, they are really scared that their businesses might not survive this pandemic.

Although we have suspended all of our in-person events at our studio since last week, fortunately I'm still able to teach Access Meditation live online through video conference, and have a recorded video course that's available too...

The right meditation practice can make all the difference in these uncertain times.

Over the past few days, I've been getting quite a few notes from, and conversations with, my students. They're all saying the same thing...

They couldn't imagine going through pandemic this without their meditation practice.

Did you know that the majority of Americans breathe in a way that actually pumps out stress, causes anxiety, and may even lead to depression and sleep disorders?

HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🙏

Dear Friends,

This Thanksgiving, I'm really thankful to be alive...

As some of you know, I nearly died earlier this year.

I will be forever grateful to my jiu jitsu coach, John Lawrence for saving my life that fateful day.
.. and to the medical team at the Cleveland Clinic for their continued care and expertise. Namely Dr. Praful Maroo, Dr. Christine Tanaka Esposito and Tamara Torres.

And now, more than ever, to my wonderful family for their unwavering love and support.

And to you, my students and friends, for your kind words and well wishes.

This has been the scariest, yet perhaps the most exciting year of my life.

See when you get so close to death, you really learn what it's like to be alive, and to live fearlessly.

My wish for you is to learn the great many lessons I've learned this year without having to go through the same ordeal, of course...

I could write an entire book on what my experience this year has taught me.

But let me leave you with one powerful instruction:

DON'T WAIT.

Don't hesitate.

Take action.

Time is not on our side...

If there's something that you want, go get it now.

You may never feel 100% ready...
.. and the perfect opportunity may never come.

That doesn't matter.

And remember to tell the important people in your life how you feel about them while you can. That matters most.
