“Hero in a White Coat”

In Pune, a daily wage worker admitted his wife for delivery, which unexpectedly turned into a cesarean section. Worried about the expenses, he feared he might have to mortgage his house.

“Doctor, is it a boy or a girl?” he anxiously asked.
“You’ve been blessed with an angel—a baby girl,” the doctor replied.
“And the fee, doctor?”
“When angels are born, I don’t charge anything,” said the doctor.

Overwhelmed, the man fell at his feet, calling him God.

That doctor is Dr. Ganesh Rakh from Pune, who has been following this practice for the last 10 years. Whenever a baby girl is born, he refuses to take even a single rupee. Till now, he has delivered over 1,000 baby girls free of cost.

“I once dreamed of becoming a wrestler, but my mother said, ‘Become a doctor and protect these angel daughters.’ That’s what I live by,” he proudly shares.

BBC London honored him with the title “Unsung Indian” for his extraordinary service.

Blessings to this noble doctor! ❤️

✨Inspiring Moment ✨

Dr. Mohammad Yousuf graduated from medical school decades ago and has spent more than 40 years practicing medicine across Pakistan, the Middle East, and England.

This year, at the age of 71, he decided to take on the USMLE Step 1—just for the challenge as he prepares to move to the U.S. And guess what? He passed! 🎉

Step 1 focuses on basic sciences he last studied nearly 50 years ago. We’ll need to check with ECFMG, but this might even be a new record 😀

His dedication to lifelong learning is truly inspiring. A reminder that age is just a number. ❤️

BREAKING: A resident from the Lake Tahoe area has tested positive for the plague, according to California health officials. The individual is believed to have been infected after being bitten by a flea while camping in South Lake Tahoe. They are currently recovering at home under medical supervision.

The plague is caused by the bacterium Yersinia pestis, and is spread through flea bites or contact with infected animals. Symptoms can appear within two weeks and include fever, chills, weakness, and swollen lymph nodes. Fortunately, it remains treatable with common antibiotics when detected early.

Officials warn that the plague is naturally present in parts of California, especially at higher elevations. Four infected rodents have already been identified in the Tahoe Basin this year. The last human case in this region was reported in 2020.

Health authorities are urging the public to take precautions while hiking or camping: use insect repellent, avoid contact with wild rodents, and ensure pets are protected from fleas.

A doctor cleared $650,000 in medical bills for 200 cancer patients.

He chose compassion over payment.

In a remarkable act of generosity, Dr. Omar Atiq, an oncologist from Arkansas, decided to erase the outstanding bills of his cancer patients at the end of his career. Many were struggling financially while battling life-threatening illness. Instead of sending final payment reminders, he sent letters telling them their debts had been forgiven entirely.

This gesture goes beyond charity—it’s a form of healing in itself. In holistic traditions, illness is often seen as more than a physical condition; it’s a state that touches emotional, mental, and spiritual layers. By removing financial burdens, Dr. Atiq gave his patients something medicine alone can’t provide—peace of mind during a vulnerable time.

His decision reminds us that abundance isn’t only about wealth, but about the willingness to share what we have for the good of others. Acts like these ripple far beyond the individuals they help, inspiring hope, trust, and a sense that humanity’s core is still rooted in care.
