Today, along with theCTSC-Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative of Northern Ohio and The LGBT Community Center of Greater Cleveland, the UH Clinical Research Center co-hosted an interactive LGBTQ+ Inclusivity for Researchers Workshop. This interactive workshop helped researchers and health professionals gain foundational understanding about how to plan for and ensure that their research programs and studies are inclusive.

Join us and over 50 sponsors and stakeholders on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Cleveland State University for the Black Maternal Health Equity Summit - a half-day convening of stakeholders from diverse industries whose formal and informal education, lived and work experience will help inform research questions and evidence-based solutions to advance health equity for Black mothers, and consequently, all mothers.

Dr. Deirdre Cooper Owens, PhD will deliver a keynote address to set the stage where we will hear stories from local mothers, and research and policy updates, challenges, and opportunities.
