October is Pastor Appreciation Month, and we want to say THANK YOU to our local pastors who shepherd their flocks - our community - well.

‼️EDIT: We caught a mistake in our income, and wanted to update that we've actually raised $127,850.05 so far instead of the $129,095.05 we reported yesterday. This is still quite the feat, and we are still so grateful! The picture has been changed to reflect this update, but we left the original text below.

We are excited to announce our preliminary Walk for Life total: $129,095.05!

We are so grateful to serve in a community that stands for Life in such meaningful ways. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you!

TOMORROW we Walk for Life!

Here are a few reminders as we prepare to come together on Saturday, September 20th:

1. We will be entering through Door 8 in the FRONT of North Cleveland Church of God on 11th Street. We will have Walk for Life flags posted and greeters to tell you where to go!

2. Parking is available in the lot across from NCCOG's main entrance. We will also have signs and volunteers around to point you in the right direction.

3. While we love having our canine companions on the walk with us, please do not bring pets inside.

4. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. A short program will begin at 8:45 a.m. and the Walk will begin at 9:00 a.m.!

We can't wait to see you there!!

Last week, part of our In-Service training for volunteers included a detailed look into our Hope Chest!

Connie, one of our Hope Chest experts and faithful volunteers, showed our team how things are processed, cleaned, and organized so they can better serve our clients when they come to shop.

In our boutique, we strive for excellence because our clients deserve a clean, intentional shopping experience that they’ve earned through our education program. Our clients are worth every bit of effort that goes into keeping the Hope Chest clean, organized and well-stocked with your generous donations. This is just one of the many ways we hope to love and serve our clients well!

Our Story

These have been exciting and challenging times as the center has gone though many changes. Back in 1985, three prominent Cleveland women met and shared a similar concern and burden for a need to help those facing crisis or pregnancies. All three women wanted to see a safe place for women and men to come and receive complete and accurate information to help them in making wise choices for their future. They also desired this to be a place where women who have already had an abortion could find nurture and guidance without condemnation. After a year of study, letter writing, research, and prayer, others joined the original three. These faithful seven committed to this vision and on October 3, 1986 Bradley County birthed its first Pregnancy Care Center. Since the birth of New Hope, hundreds of women have been strengthened and given hope on their personal journeys. There are numerous stories of lives that have been totally transformed as a result of the counsel, training, and support that they received from this center. We are so grateful for the opportunities given for us to continue helping women and men here in the greater Cleveland area. We are extremely grateful to the community of Cleveland, because they believe in the "Sanctity of Life", therefore they stand with us as we are a non-profit organization. Due to the generosity of others, we are able to offer all of our services free of charge, and fulfill the mission of New Hope which is to offer help, hope and accurate information to those affected by unplanned pregnancy.
