Cleveland Vicon is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Box Truck Driver / Warehouse Associate. The ideal candidate will be a highly-motivated, customer-focused driver who can also contribute to our warehouse operations. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and is comfortable with both driving and warehouse tasks.
Responsibilities
Box Truck Driver:
Operate a 27-foot box truck for local deliveries during normal business hours (Monday–Friday).
Safely transport products to our customers' facilities and businesses.
Make local van deliveries as needed.
Warehouse Associate:
Assist with general warehouse operations, including receiving, packing, and shipping orders.
Help unload and load delivery trucks.
Maintain accountability for inventory accuracy and contribute to housekeeping.
Qualifications
Driving Experience:
1 to 3 years of delivery experience in a service-oriented position.
Clean driving record and a valid, active Driver’s License (CDL not required).
Familiarity with local and surrounding areas.
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Clearance Certificate.
General Qualifications:
Hardworking, highly-motivated, and able to work with little supervision.
Excellent customer service skills and a clean, professional appearance.
Ability to read a map and follow directions.
Ability to load and unload heavy items up to 100 lbs. is preferred.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Good basic math and English reading/speaking skills.
Some distribution and power equipment experience is a plus.
