ABOUT DR. JOY LONG

Dr. Long grew up in Oxford, FL on a cattle ranch. She has been active in sports her entire life and was a successful high school and college softball player. Dr. Long also played travel softball, high school basketball, volleyball, and track. She went to Delta State University on a softball scholarship where she played four years under Coach David Kuhn. Dr. Long became the softball graduate assistant and the assistant softball coach at DSU before deciding to go to chiropractic school. She worked as a chiropractic assistant for one of the best doctors in the state where she gained valuable experience. During Dr. Long’s internship she had the privilege of working with a doctor that was very good with extremity work as well as the spine. Dr. Long married Steve Gleason in November 2020.
