Walking or running outdoors during snowy and icy conditions can be refreshing, but it also comes with risks. Here are some tips to help you stay safe and injury-free this season:

👟 Choose the Right Footwear: Wear shoes or boots with good traction to prevent slips on icy surfaces. Consider adding ice grips or cleats for extra safety. Consult your local running store for shoes and apparel.

🏃‍♀️ Shorten Your Stride: Take smaller, more deliberate steps to maintain balance and reduce the risk of falls.

🧣 Layer Up: Dress in warm, moisture-wicking layers to stay comfortable and protect against the cold. Don’t forget gloves, a hat, and thermal socks!
