With over two decades of experience in welding, I have honed my skills and expertise starting from my certification at the age of 18 while working at a local manufacturer in Georgia. The precision demanded by the company, where all welds underwent rigorous pressure testing, instilled in me a commitment to excell

ence and getting it right the first time. Transitioning to my family's small engine repair shop in my twenties allowed me to further refine my craft by tackling challenging projects like welding lawn mower decks and frames. Upholding the belief that quality work speaks for itself, I treat each welding job with care and attention as if it were my own. This dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction led me to establish my own business, Mobile Mender, LLC, in 2005, before unforeseen circumstances redirected my path. Despite an accident in 2011 altering my ability to continue as a mobile welder, the unwavering support of my wife spurred me to open C & A Welding in 2015, marking the beginning of a successful chapter in my welding career.

Our Story

Hello Cleveland and welcome to C & A Welding and Fabrication! So you are probably wondering who we are and where did we come from. We moved to Cleveland, GA, January of 2018 from Dawsonville. I like to think we come from a humble beginnings, my husband originally started the business in May of 2006 and he was known as Mobile Mender, LLC. But as fate would have it in 2011 James broke his neck will vacationing, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down (hold your sympathy card...he does more in a wheelchair; than most do in a week!) So, after his injury he dissolved Mobile Mender and spent the next 2 1/2 years doing therapy and healing.

Fast Forward 3 years and out of necessity James was doing some welding on his wheelchair and the idea hit me...I am going into the welding business!! Why not, I have the knowledge to run the business and I have the BEST damn welder in town to manage it! January 2015, C & A Welding opened for business. So, now your asking we what all can we do? Well..we do a little bit of everything! We are most known for our ability to weld specialty metals, (i.e. stainless, aluminum, bronze, hastelloy and inconel), oh, and now we are know for the giant peach that sits in downtown Atlanta at the CNN Center and the Georgia World Congress Center.

When we are not welding the specialty stuff, we fill our days with overflow production welding, small parts welding, fabricating, and whatever else James can dream up! We work by appointment only, so give us a call at 470-234-1368 before showing up!
