Remembering Michael Watson
Today, we celebrate the life of our dear friend, Michael Watson. Mike was a proud Navy veteran and one of the hardest-working people we’ve had the privilege to know. He spent his life doing everything he could to provide for his family, and his strength left a mark on all of us.
Mike had a way of making the little things special. Every morning, he’d light up for his favorite breakfast: eggs, homemade potatoes, and turkey sausage—always with his coffee and a huge sq**rt of chocolate mixed in. It was a simple routine, but it brought him so much joy.
Mike also found joy in movies, he’d always ask “what’s a good war movie out?” However, if there was never a war movie, he always had his go to movie Django. Mike could watch that movie 1000 times and ask to play it one more time.
Mike, thank you for all the memories, all the navy stories, and always making our 18 month old smile and laugh, we pray for your peace and comfort.
Rest easy, Mike. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts.
With love,
