🌟Lower eyelid Transformation🌟 Reversing the tired look with a hidden incision

Lower eyelid bags age our appearance and make us look tired. They often worsen over time or can become more noticeable after weight loss or after periods of stress. Luckily, there’s a nice easy surgical procedure that can correct them permanently.

When there is just too much lower eyelid fat, without significant skin or muscle droopiness or excess, the correction can be done with an incision that’s hidden on the inside of the eyelid. This is called a transconjunctival incision. The conjunctiva is the lining on the inside of the eyelid. If there’s extra skin or muscle in the lower eyelid, then an incision, maybe necessary under the lashes as well. This incision, if necessary, is still very hard to see and essentially hidden under the lashes.

In this patient, she only had extra lower eyelid fat. In order to improve her look I performed a lower eyelid lift using a transconjunctival incision with removal of the excess fat, release of the attachments, and micro fat grafting to soften the transition to the cheeks. There is no visible scar.

She is seen 3 months after surgery and is delighted with her results. She looks very natural and much more refreshed. If you’re interested in this procedure don’t hesitate, call today to learn what is possible.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ Transformative Journeys: A 54-Year-Old Woman’s Experience with Abdominoplasty and Lipo 360 (Tummy tuck and Lipo 360)

Here’s another transformation I helped with. This patient is 54-year-old woman, 5’3” 160lbs, who approached me to improve her body contours. Despite her healthy lifestyle, she struggled with stubborn fat around her abdomen and flanks.

Abdominoplasty surgery, commonly called a tummy tuck, removes excess skin and fat while tightening underlying muscles, while Lipo 360 addresses the excess fat around the entire circumference of the abdomen. Together, these procedures create a flatter stomach and a more sculpted figure.

🌟 Celebrating Transformation: The Journey of My Patients 🌟

As a plastic surgeon, I have the privilege of witnessing incredible transformations in my patients, especially those who have embarked on a weight loss journey. One of the most inspiring stories I’ve encountered recently is that of a remarkable 40-something-year-old mother and business owner who took the brave step to reclaim her body and her confidence.

After significant weight loss, she came to me to help to address the changes that often accompany such a journey. It’s common for individuals to experience skin elasticity issues and changes in body contours, which can hinder their progress and self-esteem. Together, we discussed her goals and expectations, focusing on enhancing her natural beauty while ensuring a safe and effective process.

Through tailored procedures over three stages, we worked to restore her body, allowing her to embrace the new shape she had worked so hard for. It has been wonderful to see her confidence grow as she began to appreciate her new body. The before and after pictures are 2.5 years apart and she’s 5 months from her final procedure.

The emotional and mental aspects of these transformations are just as significant as the physical, and I am honored to support my patients through this journey of self-improvement and self-love. It’s this aspect of plastic surgery that make my job so rewarding.

Located in Mayfield Heights, Ohio, and servicing all of Cleveland, Akron, and areas beyond, the Cleveland Plastic Surgery Institute provides advanced surgical and non-surgical techniques that rejuvenate the face, breast, and body.

Dr. Leedy is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. These are very important designations when choosing your plastic surgeon. Be sure to do your homework.

As a native of northeast Ohio, Dr. Leedy graduated as valedictorian from Walsh Jesuit High School before attending Cornell University, an Ivy League institution, where he earned academic distinction as a double major in chemistry and economics. He then enrolled in Case Western Reserve School of Medicine and earned induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, a distinction for only the top of the graduating medical school class. Dr. Leedy was then one of 3 of 250 highly qualified plastic surgery residency applicants to be accepted into the Integrated Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, regarded as one of the most prestigious plastic surgery training programs in the country. Dr. Leedy completed his training in 2005 and returned to northeast Ohio where he has established himself as one of the leading plastic surgeons in his region.

Dr. Leedy is an educator, having published articles in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Journal and having presented his research at national plastic surgery meetings. He is an innovator, always looking to improve plastic surgery and holds multiple patents for a breast implant sizing device that he designed, that allows patients to “test drive” their look before undergoing breast augmentation. Dr. Leedy is also Chief of Plastic Surgery at Marymount Hospital, a Cleveland Clinic hospital, and has privileges are many of the area hospitals.
