Meet Dr. Donovan, a highly skilled foot and ankle surgeon with specialized training in both forefoot and complex rearfoot and ankle reconstruction. She brings a compassionate, comprehensive approach to patient care, offering both non-surgical and advanced surgical solutions for foot and ankle pain.
Dr. Donovan is fellowship-trained in trauma and has extensive experience treating complex injuries, chronic wounds, and diabetic foot complications. Her advanced training allows her to manage everything from bunions and flatfoot to severe fractures and diabetic limb salvage.
Currently, Dr. Donovan serves as an Assistant Professor in the Division of Foot & Ankle Surgery and Biomechanics at Kent State College of Podiatric Medicine. She also plays a key role in training the next generation of surgeons through the University Hospitals Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency and as Director of the University Hospitals Foot and Ankle Fellowship in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Donovan offers advanced surgical options such as minimally invasive (MIS) bunion surgery, Lapiplasty, flatfoot reconstruction, and diabetic limb salvage procedures using external fixation, muscle flaps, and skin grafting techniques. Her patients appreciate her thoughtful, individualized care and her commitment to helping them return to a more active, pain-free life.
