Residents from The Gardens of Fairfax had a wonderful time attending the Louis Stokes Visionary Award Breakfast hosted by the Fairfax Renaissance Development Corporation at the Hilton Downtown Cleveland.

Our residents were thrilled to meet and chat with City Council President and Ward 6 Council Member Blaine Griffin and Award Honoree Secretary Marcia Fudge. We truly appreciate their dedication to improving the quality of life and well-being of seniors in our community!

Last week, we proudly celebrated the grand opening and ribbon cutting of The Gardens of Fairfax Healthcare Center. This special event brought together community leaders, partners, and neighbors to officially welcome our newest addition to the Foundations Health Solutions family.

From inspiring words shared by FHS and local leaders to meaningful conversations with our team and guests, the day was filled with connection, entertainment, and excitement for the future of senior care in our community.

🧡 Meet Our Social Services Director – Taschika Edwards! 🧡

Taschika has been part of long-term care for several years and has quickly proven to be an invaluable member of our Fairfax Gardens team. With her “get it done” attitude, attention to detail, and heart for advocacy, she truly goes above and beyond for our residents and teammates. Her compassion and empathy shine through in everything she does.

Her favorite color is teal, and she loves Chinese food. In her free time, she enjoys reading, playing Fortnite on her PS5, and spending time with family. Her long-term goal is to become a philanthropist and give back to the community by opening housing and providing medical care for those in need.

We are proud to have Taschika as part of the Fairfax Gardens family! 🧡

The managers outing was a TIME! We gathered together for a team building event and WE CRUSHED IT! We escaped the room with minutes to spare.

Terresita Howard has been with The Gardens of Fairfax since February 2025. Terresita is our HR Director, first time long term care. She has extensive background in Management and Customer Service with 22 years of Hotel Experience.

Terresita hobbies are:

Writing short stories
Spending time with her family
Fashion, upcycling thrift store items
Reading
Spending time in nature

What an amazing day at our Back to School Festival! Residents, staff, families, and neighbors came together for a day filled with fun, music, food, carnival games, free haircuts, and more. We gave away over 300 book bags packed with school supplies to help students start the year strong. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this community celebration so special!
