Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center recently had the pleasure of visiting the MDCC Health Science Licensed Practical Nursing class. Our team enjoyed the opportunity to speak with students about our facility, career opportunities, and the rewarding field of healthcare.

During our visit, we shared information about Delta Rehabilitation, provided refreshments, distributed giveaways and door prizes, and enjoyed connecting with future nursing professionals. We are grateful for the opportunity to engage with students and support the next generation of healthcare providers.

Thank you to MDCC for welcoming us. Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is proud to invest in and encourage future healthcare leaders within our community.

Happy National Nursing Home Week to the residents, families, and staff that make our facility feel like home each and every day. 💙

We have had the best week celebrating together with so many fun activities and sweet memories! From cooling off with the ice cream truck 🍦, enjoying the fun of a cake walk 🎂, balloon lift off 🎈to ending the week with an exciting Circus Day filled with circus games and cotton candy that was a huge hit 🎪🍭 — every day brought smiles, laughter, and joy to our residents and staff.

This week reminds us just how special nursing home life truly is. Thank you to our amazing team for the love and dedication you show daily, and to our residents and families for making our facility such a wonderful place to call home. 🏡

Mr. John Huffman enjoyed taking his therapy session outdoors and soaking up the sunshine on a beautiful spring day at Delta. Fresh air, movement, and a positive attitude made for the perfect combination while continuing to work toward strength and progress. We had a wonderful Mother’s Day celebration at Delta Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center! A special thank you to the Active Ladies of Shaw for spreading so much joy and delivering the sweetest “happies” to our residents. Your kindness, thoughtfulness, and love made the day extra special for all of our moms. We appreciate you helping us make beautiful memories! 💐💕

We are so thankful for our staff here at Delta! Some of our staff were nominated for employee of the month by our residents, their families or other staff members. We recognized these special staff members with a treat and a note that states “never forget the difference that you make” April Employee of the Month is Taniyah Lewis!!

I would like to take this opportunity to personally recognize Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell. She came to Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center following a tragic accident, all while having previously dedicated herself to improving the lives of other senior citizens!

At the time, Mrs. Mitchell was concerned she might never regain the independence needed to care for herself. However, through her determination and resilience—along with the support of her rehabilitation team and our outstanding nursing staff—she overcame those challenges and made an inspiring recovery. 🧡💙🧡💙

It has truly been a pleasure working with Mrs. Mitchell, and we are all incredibly proud of her accomplishments. ✨

Mrs. Tucker did an amazing job during her time at Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center! 👏

She reached her goal of returning home with her husband, and we couldn’t be more proud of her hard work and determination. While we will truly miss her, we loved celebrating this special milestone with her.🧡💙
