I would like to take this opportunity to personally recognize Mrs. Elizabeth Mitchell. She came to Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center following a tragic accident, all while having previously dedicated herself to improving the lives of other senior citizens!

At the time, Mrs. Mitchell was concerned she might never regain the independence needed to care for herself. However, through her determination and resilience—along with the support of her rehabilitation team and our outstanding nursing staff—she overcame those challenges and made an inspiring recovery. 🧡💙🧡💙

It has truly been a pleasure working with Mrs. Mitchell, and we are all incredibly proud of her accomplishments. ✨

When she arrived at Delta Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, she was uncertain about her future and unable to even stand on her own. Through determination, hard work, and the support of our amazing therapy team, just a few weeks later she walked out on her own! 👏

We had the honor of crowning our King and Queen, and what a beautiful celebration it was! Smiles, laughter, music, food, and so much love filled the room.

Our residents truly are royalty — their wisdom, strength, and stories make our community so special. Congratulations to our 2026 King and Queen! 💙💛

I want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to our incredible staff this past week during the ice and snow storm. Your dedication, long hours, and willingness to step up — many of you even sheltering in place — did not go unnoticed. You continued to care for our residents with compassion and smiles despite difficult conditions. I am beyond grateful and proud of this team. You are truly the heart of our facility.

Please also join me in praying for a speedy recovery for one of our nurses who was involved in a serious accident after sliding off the road and flipping her vehicle during the storm on her way to work. We are lifting her up and keeping her close in our thoughts and prayers.
