💙 So proud of Mr. Cannon!
Mr. Cannon came to us in June 2025 after spending several weeks in the hospital following an above-the-knee amputation. At first, standing required the help of multiple people, and every step forward took time, patience, and determination.
At Delta Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center, we partnered with an orthotic management company to fit him with a prosthetic leg and worked with a specialized wheelchair provider to ensure his equipment was custom-made for his weight, height, and needs.
Through weeks of hard work, motivation, and the dedication of our Rehab team, Mr. Cannon made incredible progress. He discharged home able to complete all self-care tasks independently, stand on his own, and walk independently.
Stories like this remind us that sometimes it takes patience — and a great rehab team — to accomplish big dreams. We are so proud to be part of Mr. Cannon’s journey home! 🌟
