FrontLine Service

FrontLine Service Cleveland, Ohio's premier homeless and trauma services organization.

Since its inception in 1988, FrontLine Service, formerly MHS, has been in the forefront of providing services to our community's most vulnerable individuals. A non-profit, behavioral health agency, FrontLine Service operates the largest continuum of services to homeless individuals in the state of Ohio, providing shelter, transitional, and permanent housing services. FrontLine Service is proud to

collaborate with community partners in the expansion of Housing First programs in Cuyahoga County, and most recently, rapid-rehousing and diversion efforts. FrontLine Service operates the Suicide Hotline and the Adult and Child Psychiatric Mobile Crisis team, providing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Outreach efforts to individuals experiencing trauma include the Children Who Witness Violence program and the Traumatic Loss Response team. FrontLine Service is a contract agency of the The Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS) Board of Cuyahoga County and a United Way Agency.

At FrontLine, it's our calling to deliver compassionate, trauma-informed care to those in crisis. We're proud to be partnering with ADAMHS Board of Cuyahoga County on this important programming!

Since last fall, thousands of people have reached out to Cuyahoga County's 988 call center for support. Hundreds of those calls came from residents in the 44102 and 44105 neighborhoods as part of our Care Response Pilot Program.

FrontLine Service's Care Responders have conducted numerous in-person assessments in these zip codes, helping individuals navigate moments of crisis with care, compassion and connection.

The ADAMHS Board, in partnership with the Cleveland Department of Public Health and FrontLine Service, is leading the way in creating an integrated behavioral health system of care for county residents. Learn more: https://bit.ly/3ybh0h2

With temperatures to rise in a few days, remember that certain medications can cause us to be more vulnerable to the heat. Check your medications' side effects or talk with your care provider. Make sure to drink extra water, take breaks from the heat, know the signs of heat exhaustion, and seek treatment if needed.

If you're someone who provides care for folks, remind them if they're on one of these medications that the heat can be extra hard on them.
