This month our Adulting class is learning about Advent. Last night was a special treat for the girls as they made bracelets under the tutelage of Val Davidson and Kim Shadburn lit the 2nd Advent candle.
What a blessing to be with these girls each week!

The Adulting class that meets every Tuesday class is amazing. We have covered the topics of “Why were you born?” compared to “Why you were created?”; finding your purpose; conflict resolution; goal setting and bucket lists. Upcoming classes include social media and budgeting. All biblically based teachings.

But we also have fun while serving others! Check out these photos of this class volunteering at The Great Helen Duck Racd and packing shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child!

Truett McConnell University Students Serving in Our Community

At Truett McConnell Univeristy students can be part of the Pregnant Resource Center and Encouragement Move Team. Their purpose is to partner with the Cleveland Care Center to help them walk along side families that have chosen life for their babies. They also partner with other move teams to encourage them and provide any resources they may need because they believe being Pro-Life is not just reserved for those who haven't been born yet, but those who also come from hard backgrounds and difficult circumstances.

They have assisted The Cleveland Care Center by volunteering in the Thrift Store and also offer mentoring to some of our local youth. We are so thankful for students willing to serve in the community!

Current Needs...
We are often asked, "How can I serve your ministry?" or "What do you need at the Center?". Here are some things to consider:
** Become a prayer intercessor.
** Volunteer as a receptionist during our open hours.
** Volunteer as a mentor to our local teens.
** Volunteer at our Under the Son thrift store.
** Supply our Baby Boutique with size 5 & 6 diapers/pull-ups, baby wash, powdered formula (only), baby shampoo, and new baby clothes size 12-24 months and 2T. No wipes, baby oil, or baby lotion.
** Supply the Center with paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, bottled water, disinfectant wipes, or copier paper.
** Join the group to organize and clean out the upstairs area.
** Community Service opportunities for church groups.
