Cleveland Area Hospital is a 14-bed, critical access hospital located at 1401 West Pawnee Street in Cleveland, Oklahoma, approximately 35 miles northwest of Tulsa. The hospital is a non-profit organization owned and operated by the Cleveland Area Hospital Trust Authority, a civic association whose Board of Directors is composed of members of the local community. In addition to 24-hour Emergency Room services, the hospital also offers hospitalist services, 24-hour lab and x-ray services, general surgery, physical therapy and rehabilitation, swing bed services, outpatient geriatric psychological therapy, health screenings, wound care, and specialty clinics.

Cleveland Area Hospital received its recognition as a Certified Healthy Business this week with a special visit by Tonya Reid with Oklahoma State Department of Health.
Certified Healthy recipients are recognized as leaders in their communities for going “above and beyond" to make health and wellness a priority. CAH is proud to have been a recipient of this certification since 2017, with our award being at the EXCELLENT level.

Cleveland Area Hospital is looking forward to participating in Oklahoma Hospital Association's Explore Healthcare: Virtual Career Expo, coming up on September 19th. Check this out!

OHA’s first “Explore Healthcare: Oklahoma’s Virtual Career Expo,” is set for Sept. 19, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. The virtual career fair will display in-demand careers in healthcare to an audience of middle school, high school, and post-secondary individuals who are interested in learning more about careers in healthcare.

🚧 ROADWORK UPDATE – SWAN STREET OVERLAY PROJECT 🚧
The City of Cleveland has updated us on the roadway improvements scheduled for Swan Street, from Caddo to Crestview.

• Monday, August 4th, they will be paving the northbound lane from Caddo toward Crestview.
• Tuesday, August 5th, they will be paving the southbound lane from Crestview back towards Caddo.

During this approximately one-mile asphalt overlay project, traffic delays and temporary detours should be anticipated.
The best route in to Cleveland Area Hospital and Lake Area Medical Associates will be Pawnee Street. Please allow extra travel time and use caution.

Cleveland Area Hospital is a 14-bed, critical access hospital located at 1401 West Pawnee Street in Cleveland, Oklahoma, approximately 35 miles northwest of Tulsa. The hospital is an independent, self-managed, non-profit healthcare system governed by the Cleveland Area Hospital Trust Authority, a civic association whose Board of Directors is composed of members of the local community. CAH provides 24-hour Emergency Room services, 24-hour lab and x-ray services, inpatient care, in/out patient physical, speech, occupational & sports therapy and rehabilitation, skilled nursing (Swing Bed) services, health screenings, wound care, outpatient infusion and nurse care services, as well as a primary care clinic, Lake Area Medical Associates. We have a hospitalist on staff 24/7.

Our Mission at Cleveland Area Hospital is the same today as it was when the doors opened in 1963, which is to provide the members of this rural community and surrounding areas exceptional, quality healthcare from employees who have a spirit of caring in their heart.
