💡 Looking for a research opportunity?
Bowel control can be one of the toughest challenges after spinal cord injury. One study is exploring whether gentle electrical stimulation of the skin in the pelvic area can help reduce reflexes that cause bowel accidents — supporting greater independence and confidence in daily life. 🦽✨

In order to continue serving Northeast Ohio and even consider expanding our services, we have a few "positions" that need to be filled. These positions are all volunteer positions, as we do not have the finances (at this time) to hire anyone as an employee. The future of our chapter depends on the help we have and once we have some help, we can look into grant options for funding.
🧡
Equipment Manager - Manages storage unit and all equipment and/or donations owned/received by the chapter. This position requires someone to meet at the Chapter’s storage unit in Parma, OH, to accept/place equipment, keep up with necessary paperwork, and maintain the chapter’s equipment.
🧡
If you are interested, would like further information, or interested in helping but not with this position, please email us your interest at unitedspinalneo@gmail.com.
