Today is International Overdose Awareness Day. Drug overdoses may have devastating long-term effects and can even be fatal. Overdoses can happen to anyone and may involve prescription drugs or illicit substances.

A Harm Reduction Vending Machine with Free Naloxone is located outside of the MetroHealth Main Campus Medical Center Emergency Department. More resources can be found on the MetroHealth Office of Opioid Safety here: https://www.metrohealth.org/office-of-opioid-safety.

This week, Recovery Resources had the pleasure of learning from Educator and Coach, Libbey Pelaia-Krumhansl, MPH, CHES, CWC, founder of OWL - Our Wellness Lives as she guided our staff in a wellness coaching session. Libbey crafted this session to accommodate the needs of our employees by incorporating topics of stress management, holistic well-being, and mental health. 🦉☮️🔥
