AABIP The AABIP is the leader in helping patients breathe easier and live longer through minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Since it’s founding in 1992, the AABIP has been a unifying source for information regarding the fields of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology. Over the last few years, we have achieved significant milestones, including having the Journal of Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology become indexed on Index Medicus, having IP Fellowship programs become part of the National Residency Match Program, running twice-yearly scientific symposia and developing and implementing the first Board Certification Exam in Interventional Pulmonology.

Launching Annual AABIP conference. Developing and implementing the first certificate of advanced qualification (CAQ) for advanced diagnostic bronchoscopy.
