My mission is to improve experiences across the full spectrum of pregnancy for those facing oppression and marginalization in our society and who otherwise would not have this type of support in Northeast Ohio by providing doula services on a sliding scale and by advocating for pregnant people's rights in the political contexts of our community. ces encompassing four main types of service; Birth, Abortion, Adoption, and Miscarriage, as well as any other reproductive event such as fetal abnormality, infertility, etc. I welcome all people including those facing disadvantages and discrimination, and I do not judge based on race, class, physical or mental ability, size, age, s*x, gender, identity, orientation, prior/current abuse or trauma, nationality, creed, or employment. In every pregnancy-related situation my goal is to provide evidence-based information, non-medical physical assistance, and non-judgmental emotional support. Raventree Radical has a passion for health activism and believes that every pregnant and parenting person deserves the right to doula care. I am a certifying doula through Birth Arts International, a holistic training organization known for their extensive and in depth trainings who has certified over 20,000 birthworkers since their founding in 2000. I am a founding member of, on the board of, and am a volunteer with the non-profit group North East Ohio Doula Collective. We provide volunteer doula services to individuals in North East Ohio who are experiencing economic hardship during pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum transition. I also volunteer with Circle of Life Birth and Family Services located in Lakewood, OH which offers midwifery, doula, and educational services.
