NURSING HOMES WEEK: 18 - 24 AUGUST

A recent study in eight Cairo nursing homes found that foot reflexology significantly reduced chronic low back pain and improved quality of life among elderly residents 💆‍♂️💪

Participants who received 9 reflexology sessions over 3 weeks reported:
✅ Less pain (measured across 3 scales)
✅ Improved ability to perform daily tasks
✅ Reduced reliance on pain medication

With no side effects and big benefits, this research highlights reflexology as a powerful non-drug option for managing chronic pain in older adults.

Reflexology vs. foot massage…

🦶 Reflexology vs Foot Massage, What’s the Difference?

Both feel good. Both involve the feet, but they are not the same.

A foot massage is a nice way to relax, using slow, flowing strokes and oils to soothe tired feet. It is comforting and pampering, great to feel calm.
