We are excited to announce the launch of the Menopause Sister Circle in partnership with Collaboration Over Competition. This initiative provides a free and supportive environment for women navigating the challenges of perimenopause and menopause. Beginning on January 17, this circle will meet every third Saturday, offering an opportunity for education, conversation, and community without the pressure to fix anything. Join us in creating a nurturing space where women can share their experiences and learn more about their bodies.

Well needed!

Cannabis use among Americans 65 and older has skyrocketed — increasing nearly 46% from 2021 to 2023, according to a new study by researchers at the University of California San Diego and NYU, published in JAMA Internal Medicine. 🌿

In 2023, 7% of seniors reported using cannabis in the past month, up from 4.8% in 2021. The biggest increases were seen in older women and individuals earning over $75K a year — a dramatic shift from 2021, when higher earners had the lowest usage rates.

As more states legalize ma*****na and social acceptance grows, seniors are exploring cannabis for relief from chronic pain, stress, sleep issues, and conditions like diabetes and hypertension.

With usage growing fast, the study calls for better research and guidance for both patients and healthcare providers.
