Advocating for Excellence in Richmond! 🏛️

Representation matters! This week, leadership from The Woodlands Health & Rehab Center traveled to Richmond to meet with Delegate Terry Austin and Delegate Will Davis.

We discussed the importance of high-quality long-term care and the resources needed to continue providing a "culture of excellence" for our neighbors in the Alleghany Highlands and beyond. We are grateful to our delegates for their time and their commitment to the seniors and healthcare workers in our community. When we work together with our state leaders, we ensure our center truly remains a place that feels like home.

Grab your popcorn—it’s Movie Night at The Woodlands! 🍿🎬

We are transforming our dining room into a classic "Drive-In" theater this Thursday, February 26th! We invite our residents and their families to join us at 5:30 PM for a special screening of Paddington in Peru.
Expect plenty of puffed corn, refreshments, and Hershey Kisses to go around. And don’t worry about the commute—we’ve cleared out plenty of "Free Wheelchair Parking" right up front! 😉

We’ve officially reached the finish line of our Woodlands Winter Olympics! Our Grand Finale was a day to remember, featuring a vibrant coloring contest, the high-energy "Snowball Challenge," and a special closing ceremony.
To top it all off, our champions celebrated their hard-earned medals with refreshing snow cones! It’s been a week of incredible spirit and community

Going for Gold at The Woodlands! 🏅❄️
The competitive spirit was high today as we hosted our very own Woodlands Winter Games! Our residents showed off their skills in Olympic Skee-Ball and brought the speed during our Bobsled Wheelchair Racing events.
It was a fantastic day of movement, laughter, and cheering for our neighbors.

There was no shortage of smiles at The Woodlands this week as we hosted our annual Valentine’s King and Queen Court Party. It was a beautiful afternoon filled with music, laughter, and a celebration of the wonderful people who make our center so special.
