The Caring Gene® Program cannot partially fund education programs that began before January 2025 or end after spring 2027. If all educational requirements are not complete by spring 2027, you are not eligible for funding through our program.

The Career Pathways Training (CPT) Program is funded by a NYS grant, and money is awarded based on the county you live in.

If your county isn't listed on the Caring Gene® website, that doesn't mean you're ineligible for the CPT Program. You just need to apply for funding through the workforce investment organization (WIO) administering the grant for residents of your county.
