💛 Celebrating 2 Years of The Grief Experience 💛

This weekend we celebrate two years of The Grief Experience and most importantly, the incredible authors who made this book what it is.

To each of you: thank you for your courage, your honesty, and your willingness to share your stories. Writing about grief is not easy. Sharing personal loss publicly and intentionally takes heart, vulnerability, and deep generosity. You trusted your stories to this book so others could feel less alone in theirs.

Because of you, The Grief Experience has reached thousands of grieving individuals, sparked conversations in communities, classrooms, and support groups, and reminded people that grief does not have to be navigated in isolation. Your words continue to meet readers in moments when they need understanding, permission, and hope, not to “move on,” but to stay connected to their loved one.

This book exists because each of you said yes to sharing, to showing up, and to using your experience to support others. We are deeply grateful for the impact you’ve made and the lives you’ve touched over the past two years.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Thank you for your voices. Thank you for your stories.

💛 Here’s to two years and to the continued ripple effect of compassion, connection, and courage.

✨ Celebrating 2 Years of The Grief Experience ✨

Two years ago, The Grief Experience: Tools for Acceptance, Resilience and Connection was released into the world—and since then, it has reached far beyond what we ever imagined.

This collaborative book, created with 25 authors, has become an Amazon Best Seller, a 2024 International Book Awards Winner, and the recipient of the 2025 Coalition of Visionary Resources Award in Grief. More importantly, it has helped normalize grief, validate lived experiences, and offer practical tools to thousands of readers.

We’re especially proud of the local impact. Eleven of the 25 authors are from the Saratoga region, and together they have presented to hundreds of grieving individuals through workshops, community events, support groups, and trainings since the book’s release.

To mark this milestone, seven local authors will gather for a free community event at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Library on Sunday, February 8, from 1–3 PM. The event will include author reflections, conversation, Q&A, and book signing, along with information about local grief resources.

This book was created so that anyone who is grieving could open it and feel less alone—finding at least one story that resonates and tools that meet them where they are. We would love to celebrate this journey with you.

Since the release of The Grief Experience in February 2023, the authors have had a busy and meaningful two years. Through community events, trainings, workshops, and conversations, they’ve been sharing their stories and tools with grieving individuals across the region and beyond. This video offers a glimpse into what the authors have been up to and the shared goal that continues to guide the work: getting this book into the hands of as many grieving people as possible, so they feel seen, understood, and less alone.
