It is with deep sadness that we announce the recent passing of our friend and colleague, Victor Fondacaro. Victor has been a part of the Clifton Park Eye Care family since joining the team as an optician in 2021. Those who were fortunate enough to meet Victor will remember the positivity, humor, and kindness he brought to every interaction with his patients, colleagues, and friends. Victor’s calm demeanor and upbeat personality made him a cherished part of the team – he always looked forward to having lunch with his coworkers and spent many of his breaks outside playing basketball with Dr. Weaver.

Victor was a bright light in our office whose presence and impact on our lives will not be forgotten. Please keep Victor’s family and friends in your thoughts and prayers. In support of UV Safety Month this July, the American Academy of Ophthalmology reminds the public of the importance of shielding eyes from the sun's harmful rays with 100% UV-blocking sunglasses and broad-brimmed hats.
