Public Reminder: Emergency Alarm System

As much of the Town of Clifton lies within a flood zone, the safety of our residents remains a top priority.

Please note: the Town’s emergency alarm system uses distinct audible alerts, tested monthly on the first Tuesday.

Steady tone – High water event: flooding is possible.

Wail tone – Flooding is imminent: evacuate and seek higher ground immediately.

Stay alert and follow all official instructions when alarms sound.

Park Avenue Paving Project – Final Phase

The final phase of the Park Avenue Paving Project is scheduled for Monday, August 11, 2025, beginning at 7:00 AM. Crews will be completing work on the manhole covers, which will impact traffic along Park Avenue throughout the day.

This work marks the official completion of the project.

We sincerely thank the residents of Park Avenue for their patience and cooperation, which helped us complete this project efficiently and on schedule.

Webster Avenue & Sixth Street Paving Project Begins this week!

The paving project on Webster Avenue and Sixth Street is scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 7, 2025 and is expected to be completed by Friday, August 29, 2025 (3 weeks).

One lane traffic will be permitted as the project allows. However, street parking will be affected.

Important Parking Notice:
Street parking will not be permitted in the project area during this time. Residents and visitors are advised to make alternative parking arrangements. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner's expense.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work to improve our community infrastructure.
