Looking for full time or part time workers for my 25 year old brother came into my care when our mom died in 2021. I am looking for strong, compassionate caregivers to provide care for his personal and medical needs, as well as take him on fun outings. Along with a severe form of epilepsy, he is developmentally a toddler that can have adult sized temper tantrums. Most of the time he is a sweet, loving guy, but he requires someone strong enough to handle his behaviors when they arise.

No prior experience is necessary, as all training will be provided. However, he needs someone that is patient, strong, kind, and willing to adapt to his world. You will become certified as a Residential Backup Provider for him through Ariel Clinical Services, but you will be paid privately through me as his Host Home.

I am looking for full time workers, but part time is accepted as well. Here are the time slots I need filled:
Monday-Friday 7:45am - 9:30am
Monday - Friday 2:00pm - 7:00pm
Saturday 8:30am - 7:00pm
Sunday 1:30pm -7:00pm

Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions.
Thanks!

Usually we have to put fries in the ketchup and he will pull them out, this is the first time he has ever done the whole process on his own!

Hello! Welcome to our page! Ben is my sweet little brother who has come into my care since our mom died in 2021. We love each other dearly, but he gets tired of having his older sister around all the time! Because of this, I am looking for compassionate caregivers to watch Ben, take care of his personal and medical needs, as well as take him on fun outings.

He has a severe form of epilepsy called Dravet Syndrome. Most of the time his seizures occur during the night, but it is not uncommon to see them during the day. He is fully ambulatory, but when out in the community he uses a wheelchair because he is developmentally 2 years old, and because standing/walking for extended periods of time is painful for him. Because he is developmentally a toddler, and has seizures, he requires constant supervision.

No prior experience is necessary. However, he needs someone that is patient, strong, kind, and willing to adapt to his world. You will be trained on seizure care, diaper changing, transfering, feeding, giving meds, etc. He is a lot of hard work, but his smile, hugs, and pure heart make it all worth it!

Caregivers needed for any combination of the following time slots:

Tuesday, Wednesday 2:15pm - 6:45pm
Sunday 1:00pm - 6:45pm

Please contact me with any questions or to schedule a time to come meet Ben and get to know him!

Happy 24th Birthday to Ben! He had a great day at Bananas Fun Park! His favorite activity was riding in the Go-Karts and giving his friends/family hugs and kisses! Also, thank you Homestyle Bakery for the adorable cake!

Ben loves to play in the car, dumping and pouring his toys out of a basket, and turning lights on and off. You will hear us in the background saying "Ah-Boo" this is one of the few things Ben says and it means "I Love You" or "I'm Happy".
