I am proud that New Jersey Heart and Vein was one of the first practices in New Jersey and globally to utilize the Boston Scientific CEDAR™ Venous Catheter System. Early adoption of new venous technology allows us to refine technique, expand treatment options, and continue delivering high-level, minimally invasive care.

At New Jersey Heart and Vein, our focus remains on setting the standard in venous and vascular care through experience, innovation, and thoughtful implementation of advanced therapies.

✨ We’re Proud to Welcome Evan Nevel, DO, FACC ✨

We are honored to have Dr. Evan Nevel join our distinguished cardiology team at New Jersey Heart and Vein.

Dr. Nevel is a board-certified cardiologist whose background blends rigorous training with years of high-acuity clinical experience. He earned his medical degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, completed residency at Hackensack Meridian Health-Palisades Medical Center, and pursued advanced cardiology fellowship training at the nationally respected Deborah Heart and Lung Center.

Following fellowship, Dr. Nevel remained on staff for several years, caring for some of New Jersey’s sickest and most complex cardiac patients. He quickly became known for his exceptional diagnostic skill, steady clinical leadership, and compassionate, patient-first approach.

Today, he brings that same depth of experience to the full spectrum of heart health, from urgent cardiac care to long-term prevention and wellness. We are truly excited for our community to experience the level of care he provides.
