Calmare Therapy (scrambler therapy) is a non-invasive, drug-free solution for pain management and medication-resistant neuropathy. The device works to relieve pain directly at the pain site, without reliance on medication. Via small electrodes placed by a specially-trained doctor, a ‘no-pain’ message is transmitted directly to the nerve for a period of approximately 35 minutes per session. Regardless of severity, pain and physical symptoms can be significantly minimized or alleviated after the 10-treatment series is completed.
Since 2011, clinical director Dr. Michael J. Cooney has specialized in the use of Calmare scrambler therapy to lessen--or even alleviate (remission)--the following chronic pain conditions: * CRPS / RSD * Fibromyalgia * Shingles / PHN * Pain from chemotherapy treatment / CIPN * Post-surgical pain * Sciatica | lumbar pain
