Clifton City Boil Advisory is lifted. Thank you for your patience. See below for more detailed information:

Based on the verbal report of Clifton's water quality tests on Monday, July 24th results & on the subsequent verbal approval of ID DEQ on Tuesday, July 25th, Clifton is rescinding it's boil order for its municipal water system. If you have any health concerns regarding the lifting of the boil order you should contact your doctor. Note that according to the U.S. EPA the boiling of water for one minute is sufficient to inactivate biological contamination.

Clifton City Water Update:

The well is now supplying the majority of the water. There is spring water also going into the tank. The spring has been treated with chlorine. This message should not negate the boil advisory. Water in the system should be relatively safe at this time. Water test results will not be confirmed until Wednesday. Boil at your own discretion.
