🌵🤠 Yesterday was Western Day for National Assisted Living Week, and we had a rootin’ tootin’ good time! From a friendly co****le tournament to our fall craft show and a sweet staff appreciation ice cream social, it was a day full of fun and gratitude. We kicked off National Assisted Living Week with Grandparents Day by cheering on the Detroit Lions! 🏈💙 The Lions’ first game and our tailgate was a huge success! Even though they didn’t bring home the win, we had an amazing time cheering them on together. Great food, fun, and even Jets Pizza for dinner made the day extra special. 🍕

🌊🚢 We had such a wonderful time aboard the Diamond Jack’s Riverboat Cruise! While sightseeing along the Detroit River, we learned so much fascinating history about the city and our neighbors in Canada. We reminisced about how much Detroit has changed and grown over the years. A beautiful day filled with memories, stories, and stunning views of our city! 💙✨

Our Vice President of Culinary, Chef Kevin Penn, CEC, CCA, was recently honored as the American Culinary Federation Central Regional winner for the 2025 Dr. L.J. Minor Chef Professionalism Award.

This award honors chefs who exemplify professionalism, and Chef Kevin is more than deserving. His leadership has elevated dining across 150+ StoryPoint Group communities, turning meals into experiences and dining rooms into gathering spaces. We couldn’t be prouder. Way to go, Chef Kevin!
