With warmer weather, we’re all spending more time outside—but that also means a higher chance of poison ivy exposure! This pesky plant can cause an itchy, red rash due to its oil, urushiol, which spreads through direct contact, clothing, pets, or even airborne particles if burned.
✅ Treatment: Cold compress, anti-itch solutions, oral antihistamines, or prescription medication for severe cases.
🌿 Prevention: Learn to spot poison ivy—"Leaves of three, let it be!" Wear protective clothing and wash exposed items ASAP.
